Kingsley Road remained closed immediately west of Shiloh Road after rain delayed work at the Dallas Garland Northeastern Railroad crossing.
The closure had originally been scheduled to end at 3 p.m. July 13. Garland did not provide a revised reopening time in the update, so drivers should not rely on the original schedule.
Drivers can check the City of Garland closure notice for the announced status. The city did not identify a detour in the approved information.

The railroad’s broader crossing-improvement work also includes Miller Road, Marquis Drive and Oakland Street west of Shiloh Road.
