Cachet filing shows Flower Mound salon project is about 47% smaller

A state filing sizes Cachet Salons + Spa’s Flower Mound building at 7,160 square feet, about 47% smaller than the earlier two-story concept.

Published 2 minute read

A new Texas filing puts the planned Cachet Salons + Spa building in Flower Mound at 7,160 square feet—6,420 square feet smaller than the 13,580-square-foot concept Community Impact reported after a December 2024 Town Council action.

That is a reduction of about 47%. The design also changed from the previously reported two-story concept to a one-story building, according to Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation registration TABS2026025104.

What the current filing shows

The registration describes Cachet Salons + Spa as a privately funded, owner-occupied commercial project at 520 Northwood Drive. It lists 7,160 square feet of new construction and an estimated cost of $2.3 million.

The filing gives an anticipated construction window of Sept. 7, 2026, through May 1, 2027. Those dates are estimates in the registration, not confirmation that construction will start or finish on that schedule, and they do not establish an opening date.

Cross Timbers Gazette reported that the Flower Mound Planning and Zoning Commission unanimously approved the one-story site plan in June 2026 without waivers or exceptions.

Studio count remains unknown

Community Impact reported that the earlier, larger concept was expected to accommodate about 40 independently operated beauty and wellness studios. The available evidence does not establish how many studios are planned for the smaller building.
