A 19-year-old Army private from Carrollton has been identified by the Defense Department as one of two U.S. service members killed in Jordan on July 17, according to published reporting.

Army Pvt. Isabella Gonzales was reportedly killed during an enemy attack at Muwaffaq Salti Air Base. The incident remained under investigation.
