Rockwall County has scheduled a full overnight FM 35 closure for bridge demolition as part of its weather-dependent I-30 corridor restrictions through July 25. The schedule also includes lane closures and daytime flagging.
Route-by-route schedule
FM 35: FM 35 is scheduled for a full closure from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. for bridge demolition.
Eastbound I-30: The left lane from T.L. Townsend Drive to FM 3549 is scheduled to close nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. through July 25.
Westbound I-30: The left lane from FM 35 to Erby Campbell Boulevard is scheduled to close overnight for barrier installation.
FM 548 and the westbound frontage road: Daytime flagging is planned through July 25.
All of the work is weather permitting. The county notice does not provide a detour.
Drivers can review the official Rockwall County closure notice. These restrictions follow separate I-30 ramp and pavement changes in Royse City announced earlier in July.
