Drivers around US 75 and Renner Road in Richardson face four nights of traffic restrictions beginning July 23 as crews work on the DART Silver Line bridge. Richardson’s current notice says the schedule may change because of weather or construction conditions.
The current schedule replaces an earlier July 16-19 target that the city had described as tentative. A June city update said the completed south arch would be followed by installation of the north arch later in July.
Night beginning July 23
From 9 p.m. July 23 to 4 a.m. July 24, the southbound US 75 frontage road is scheduled to close fully. Rolling closures are then planned through the US 75-Renner Road intersection and along the northbound frontage road.
Night beginning July 24
From 9 p.m. July 24 to 6 a.m. July 25, the US 75 main lanes are scheduled to close in both directions. The eastbound and westbound President George Bush Turnpike direct-connect ramps to southbound US 75 are also scheduled to close fully.
Night beginning July 25
From 9 p.m. July 25 to 8 a.m. July 26, all northbound US 75 main lanes are scheduled to close. The left lane of the northbound frontage road will close, along with Exit 28B to the turnpike direct-connect ramps.
Night beginning July 26
From 8 p.m. July 26 to 5 a.m. July 27, the southbound US 75 frontage road and Exit 27 to Renner Road are scheduled to close fully.
Drivers planning to use the corridor overnight should check the current schedule before leaving because the timing remains conditional.
