Stewpot art show ends July 17; reservations required

Dallas residents have through July 17 to visit The Stewpot’s free Common Ground exhibition, which features original work by people who are experiencing or have experienced homelessness.

The exhibition is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays at 1610 S. Malcolm X Blvd. Advance reservations are required.

How art purchases support participants

Participating artists set the prices for their work and receive 90% of each sale, according to The Stewpot.

The organizer says artists in its program generated more than $33,000 in sales during 2025. Visitors who decide to buy a piece can therefore see both the artist’s chosen price and the share that goes directly to the artist.
