Lewisville young artist program: Which grades need an audition by July 31

The Lewisville theater program offers open-enrollment and audition-only tracks for different grade bands, with advanced auditions due July 31.

Published 1 minute read

Our Productions Theatre Co. is enrolling students for its 2026-27 Young Artist Training Program, with classes beginning in August at Lewisville Grand. The options differ by grade and experience, and families considering an advanced track face a July 31 audition-submission deadline.

Choose a track by grade and admission type

  • Grades 3-6: Beginning and intermediate classes are open enrollment.
  • Grades 7-10: Beginning and intermediate classes are open enrollment.
  • Grades 7-12: Advanced and college-preparation training require an audition.

That means students seeking a beginning or intermediate class do not need to complete the advanced audition process. Students interested in advanced or college-preparation training should review the requirements and submit their audition by July 31.

Enrollment and tuition assistance

The nonprofit says tuition assistance is available. Families can use the Our Productions Theatre Co. website to review program information, enrollment and assistance details.

The Town of Flower Mound has also announced that the nonprofit is enrolling students in the program.

For a quick decision: first match the student’s current grade to the listed bands, then determine whether the desired class is beginning or intermediate, or one of the audition-only advanced options. Families choosing an audition track should work backward from the July 31 submission deadline; all listed program classes begin in August at Lewisville Grand.
