A Texas state filing lists a $2.5 million renovation or alteration project for American Airlines Flagship Check-In DFW D.

American says this will be its first Flagship check-in experience at DFW Airport. The facility will be in Terminal D near the D30 security checkpoint and is expected to open later in 2026.

Eligible customers can expect a private check-in setting, individual assistance and convenient access to security screening, according to the airline’s announcement.

Neither source establishes an exact opening date. The filing also does not specify which parts of the Flagship check-in facility are covered by its $2.5 million estimate.

The Terminal D project is separate from a recently registered $7.64 million American Airlines fitout at DFW Terminal F.
