Dirdie Birdie opens mini-golf restaurant and bar in West 7th

Dirdie Birdie opened a restaurant, bar and 12-hole indoor miniature-golf course at 2821 Morton Street in Fort Worth.

Dirdie Birdie opened its second location July 8 at 2821 Morton Street in Fort Worth’s West 7th district, according to two local reports.

The venue combines a restaurant and bar with a 12-hole indoor miniature-golf course. The format puts dining, drinks and an activity in the same West 7th location.

The Dallas Observer reported the opening date, address and 12-hole course. Fort Worth Magazine also reported the opening and venue concept.

More offerings planned for August

Weekend brunch and private group bookings were expected to begin in August, according to Fort Worth Magazine. Those offerings were future plans at the time of the report, separate from the venue’s July 8 opening.

The Fort Worth site is Dirdie Birdie’s second location. Its reported opening gives West 7th another combined food, bar and indoor entertainment option, while the August plans would expand the ways groups and brunch customers could use the space.

The reports establish that the venue opened July 8, but describe brunch and private bookings as expected August additions rather than services already underway.
