A new state registration identifies a $1.8 million interior renovation for FormFactor Building B, adding a construction milestone to the semiconductor manufacturer’s much larger Farmers Branch expansion.
The TDLR registration covers Building B specifically. It should not be confused with the company’s broader investment figures, which describe a larger facility plan rather than this single renovation.
How the filing fits the larger project
FormFactor previously announced that site work and equipment installation had begun at its new advanced-manufacturing facility. The company said it expected to invest more than $140 million there during 2026.
A Farmers Branch enterprise-zone presentation provides the longer-range scale: approximately $341 million in anticipated total investment, more than 100,000 square feet of cleanroom space at full buildout and 650 full-time employees over four years.
A TCEQ permit summary identifies the semiconductor-manufacturing facility at 4350 Innovation Drive.
The records therefore describe different layers of the same Farmers Branch project: a $1.8 million Building B renovation, more than $140 million in company spending expected during 2026, and a city presentation’s substantially larger full-buildout projections.
