The state registration for project TABS2026025655 identifies the work as new construction. Frisco separately estimates first-phase construction at about $43 million and anticipates opening the phase in October 2027.
Two official estimates differ by about $2.36 million
The state registration estimate is approximately $2.36 million below Frisco’s approximate construction figure. The official sources do not explain whether the figures cover different scopes or use different estimating methods, so they should not be treated as equivalent budgets.
What the first phase includes
According to the City of Frisco’s project announcement, the 58-acre phase will include an amphitheater, an orchard, shade structures, restrooms and the approximately three-acre Arrowhead Pond.
Big Bluestem Trail will be closed during first-phase construction. The city has not provided a more specific closure period in the approved project information.
The filing joins other large North Texas projects entering state records, including an Amazon distribution-center project registered in Terrell.
