A state project record lists Kings Creek Park Improvements in Terrell as a registered renovation or alteration project with an estimated cost of $1.2 million.

The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation filing provides the project classification and estimate. Terrell’s park information adds the location and the amenities the city describes as upcoming.

What Terrell lists for the park

The city identifies Kings Creek Park as a 31.5-acre neighborhood park at 259 Kings Creek Drive.

Terrell lists a lighted one-mile walking trail, picnic tables and benches, a new basketball court and ADA-compatible restrooms among the upcoming improvements.

The approved city and state records do not provide a construction schedule, identify a funding authorization or say whether any part of the park will close during the work.

The Kings Creek filing follows a separate Terrell park registration: a $215,000 splash-pad project at Breezy Hill Park.
