Providence Presbyterian Church’s planned sanctuary in Dallas has been registered as an $8.5 million privately funded new-construction project, according to a state project record.
The church says its governing session approved moving forward with the sanctuary and is accepting designated construction gifts. It identifies its campus as 10727 Midway Road.
Older records describe different plans
An architect’s historical master-plan description envisioned a future 10,000-square-foot, 800-seat sanctuary arranged around a cloister garden.
A separate 2017 Dallas Board of Adjustment record described an approximately 18,500-square-foot future sanctuary. That proceeding concerned setback, parking and residential-screening variance requests at the campus.
The 10,000- and 18,500-square-foot figures are historical descriptions, not confirmed current specifications. The present milestone is the $8.5 million state registration alongside the church’s approval to proceed and its active construction-gift campaign.
