Two suspects were reportedly being sought after police responding to a home in the 300 block of Eagle Ridge in Forney found one person dead.
Published reporting based on police statements described the fatal shooting as an apparently targeted attack. The two suspects were last seen near Eagle Ridge, Van Buren and Cisco.

One suspect was described as a Black man about 6 feet to 6 feet 1 inch tall who was wearing black. The other was described as a tall, lighter-skinned Black man wearing a gray shirt and black mask.
At the report’s 4:10 p.m. CDT update, police asked nearby residents to remain vigilant, stay inside and avoid the scene while the investigation continued. The search status may have changed since that update.
