A Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation filing registers $12,282,243 in estimated new construction for the Dallas Police Law Enforcement Training Center–Criminal Justice Center.
The $12,282,243 figure applies to the registered Criminal Justice Center project, not the full training campus. The filing’s Project Registered status does not mean construction is complete or establish the final delivered cost.
How the filing fits the larger campus
Dallas records identify the broader training-center site as 7300 University Hills Boulevard at the University of North Texas at Dallas.
A February city update says the planned campus includes basic and in-service academies, reality-based training buildings and a physical-tactics pavilion. The Criminal Justice Center is planned to house the UNT Dallas Criminal Justice Department.
The city’s March update listed $96.5 million in committed funding and an $88.5 million remaining need against a $185 million overall budget.
The same update targeted a summer 2028 ribbon cutting but said the schedule remained under development. That makes both the timing and the final campus cost unresolved.
