Texas Woman’s University plans to complete the remaining Jones Hall renovations in Denton through a third phase targeted for fall 2027.

The new TDLR registration lists Jones Hall Phase III as a renovation or alteration with an estimated construction cost of $5.5 million.

Who will use the renovated space

Phase 3 will finish renovating the remaining Jones Hall spaces for Dental Hygiene faculty and Disability Support Services. The university’s fiscal 2025 annual financial report gives the project a $5 million budget and a fall 2027 completion target.

The two official records use different cost measures: TWU lists a $5 million project budget, while TDLR lists a $5.5 million estimated construction cost.

Elsewhere in Denton County, a recent state filing placed a $10 million construction estimate on a SteriTek renovation in Lewisville.
