A new state registration puts a $2.7 million estimate and an anticipated Sept. 1 construction start on a 16,855-square-foot retail shell at 3440 FM 544 in Wylie. The filing lists no assigned tenant.
The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation registration describes privately funded new construction on Woodbridge Crossing Lot 1R. It lists an anticipated completion date of April 15, 2027. Those dates are planning targets; the registration does not establish that construction has begun.
Two records show different footprints
An April Wylie planning report described 17,143 square feet of proposed commercial space on the same lot, a vacant 2.59-acre pad beside Woodbridge Crossing.
The subsequent state registration is 288 square feet smaller. The reviewed records do not explain the 288-square-foot difference.
The state registration identifies Wylie Lackland LLC as the owner and lists no assigned tenant. Taken together, the records establish the shell’s location, current size estimate and anticipated schedule, but not which businesses, if any, may occupy it.
Another recent Collin County filing covers a $1.6 million commercial shell in Melissa, where the reviewed records also did not identify committed tenants.
