Texas Health Fort Worth will add four floors to Justin Tower in an expansion expected to be completed in 2029. A state project registration classifies the work as a $250 million renovation or alteration project.

What the four new floors will contain
Floors 11 and 12 are planned for labor and delivery, a nursery, dedicated operating rooms, and antepartum, postpartum and gynecology rooms.
Floors nine and 10 will initially remain unfinished shell space that can accommodate future needs.
A separate 71-room project opens sooner
The four-floor addition and the 71-room build-out are separate projects with different timelines. Work on two existing unfinished floors will create a 36-bed surgical and telemetry unit and a 35-bed trauma and burn unit, both scheduled to open in August 2026.
