Published 1 minute read

A state filing identifies January Lane as a planned 144,515-square-foot warehouse shell at 1101 State Highway 161 in Grand Prairie.

The privately funded project carries an estimated cost of $13.8 million. According to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation record, construction is scheduled to run from Aug. 1, 2026, through Aug. 1, 2027.

What the filing covers

The registration describes a one-story, tilt-wall shell building. It names Prologis 2 LP as the owner and Powers Brown Architecture as the design firm.

No tenant is assigned in the filing. That distinction matters because the registered work covers the building shell, not a finished space designed for a named occupant. Any later tenant work would require separate permits.

For Grand Prairie residents tracking development along State Highway 161, the record establishes the project’s location, scale, ownership and construction window. It does not identify who might eventually occupy the building.
