A July state registration adds cost, size and schedule details to Box Investment Group’s planned corporate headquarters at 1 Commercial Drive in Addison.
The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation record, registered July 17, describes a two-story office building. The July registration lists the privately funded project at $2.025 million and 5,751 square feet.
The filing lists anticipated construction from Sept. 1, 2026, through April 1, 2027. Registration does not establish that construction has started or guarantee those dates.
The building descriptions differ
Addison City Council approved the rezoning request Feb. 10. The town’s announcement said the project would include Box Investment Group’s corporate-headquarters relocation from Dallas.
The official descriptions do not match: the state record says two stories, while Addison’s announcement said one. The town also described the approved concept as a multi-tenant commercial building.
The state record names BIG Addison Office as the owner and RGA Architects as the design firm. Its tenant field is unassigned, although the town’s earlier announcement identified the headquarters plan.
Addison described the vacant site as being along Belt Line Road between Frost Bank and the Asbury Circle townhomes.
The $2.025 million figure is an estimate, as was the cost in a recent filing tied to Sherrill Park Golf Course plans in Richardson.
