Trietsch registers $3 million renovation alongside $11.6 million campus plan

The church says some classes or gatherings may move temporarily, while its funding plan calls for contributions and a property sale without new debt.

Published 1 minute read

A state project registration lists a $3 million renovation or alteration for Trietsch Memorial United Methodist Church in Flower Mound.

The filing comes as the church describes a broader $11.6 million campus-regeneration plan. That plan allocates an estimated $4.3 million to deferred maintenance and $7.3 million to reconfiguring the main building.

What the registration establishes

Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation project TABS2026025904 carries a status of Project Registered and identifies the work as a renovation or alteration.

The reviewed sources do not establish that the $3 million registration is a specific phase of the church’s $11.6 million plan.

How the church plans to finance its work

The church says it plans to raise at least $2.4 million through three-year contributions and sell its Family Life Center, without taking on new debt.

What congregants may experience

Trietsch says some classes or gatherings may be temporarily displaced while the work is staged to limit disruption.
