Dallas-based Texans on Mission is deploying disaster-relief assets to Kerrville, Boerne and Uvalde after widespread flooding.
The move marks a change from July 16, when the teams were on standby for a response spanning multiple locations.
Teams planned for the response
The planned response includes flood-recovery, feeding, shower-and-laundry, incident-management, asset-protection, box-ministry, chaplain, electrical and electronic-support teams.
How to become a deployable volunteer
Disaster-relief volunteers must complete orientation and a background check, connect with an area coordinator and report their availability before deployment.
The organization offers online orientation. It also lists an in-person disaster-relief orientation and specialty-training event in Southlake on Oct. 3, 2026.
How to give or contact the Dallas office
Texans on Mission accepts tax-deductible financial gifts supporting disaster response. The organization does not describe those general gifts as earmarked for this particular flood deployment.
Its Dallas office is at 5351 Catron Drive. The listed phone number is 214-275-1100.
